About Us

Come Together Hub was created to provide an alternative, non-clinical pathway to recovery.

One rooted in connection, dignity, and lived experience.

We believe that recovery is not just about treatment but about rebuilding a meaningful life.

Our work focuses on creating environments where people feel they belong, are treated with respect, and can move forward at their own pace.

Our Vision

Our vision is of a society where people are not defined by their past, their struggles, or their labels. We want a world where lived experience is valued, support is rooted in community, and people are given the time, space, and opportunity to rebuild their lives.

A world where no one is written off, and everyone has the chance to feel connected, purposeful, and hopeful again.

What is a CIC?

Come Together Hub is a Community Interest Company (CIC). A Community Interest Company (CIC) exists to benefit the community, not private profit. Any income we generate is reinvested back into our work, helping us support people, strengthen communities, and keep lived experience at the heart of everything we do.

Meet Our Team

Matthew Molyneux

I am the founder of Come Together Hub CIC established in 2021, created from lived experience of addiction and homelessness. My journey through recovery has shaped not only who I am, but how I work with others, with empathy, honesty, and a deep understanding of the barriers people face when trying to rebuild their lives

Founder & CEO

Nicola Marke

Having been involved with the hub from its beginning, I purposely bring my lived experience of addiction and mental health into my work every day. I believe in a non-judgemental approach and in the power of connection and hope, things that are often overlooked, but make a real difference to someone’s recovery.

My role is about helping the organisation develop from the bottom up, making sure the voices of people with lived experience guide all our activities and that what we do stays real, relevant and led by the people it’s for.

Development Manager

I have been working within the St Helens community for nine years. I started out volunteering for the hub before becoming the volunteer coordinator in September 2025. I now work closely with all the volunteers to ensure they have everything they need to thrive and be well. I help navigate events, training and being on the other end phone for anything and everything to make their day go smoothly and give a listening ear. No two days are the same.

Volunteer Coordinator

Claire Rigby

I have been a member of the Board since January 2025 after first being a volunteer. Having lived experience of recovery and a long background in the finance profession, I can make sure that the decisions we make as a Board consider both the financial aspect whilst maintaining that the needs of the people we are supporting are also met. This experience means I can offer a level of financial expertise alongside a caring and empathetic approach gained through my own experience

Volunteer Team

Our volunteer team consists of individuals with lived experience of addiction, mental health difficulties and homelessness. This lived experience is central to our approach and strengthens the support we offer. Many volunteers are members who choose to get involved as part of their recovery and personal development journey. Volunteering provides opportunities to build skills, confidence, and work experience, supporting progression into education, training, or employment.
